Skype Unlimited Calls within Canada and U.S.A.

Are you aware that you can make free calls anywhere in the U.S. and Canada from your computer? Skype is one of the VOIP services offered over the internet. All you need is an internet connection and a computer with a microphone and speakers, a Skype account and your in business. In fact, Ashlin now ofers a variety of Skype compatible USB and IP telephones if you want to use a handset rather than a microphone and speakers. Since June 2006, Skype waived the charge to call land and cell phones within the U.S. and Canada. Well, all good things often come to an end and the free service will end on December 31. Starting January 1, 2007, the cost per minute will be $0.024 Canadian. BUT, you can now buy unlimited calling for $19.50 Canadian for one year if you sign up for the service by January 31, 2007. Included in the fee is one hour of international calls and a $50 voucher to purchase handsets and other Skype options.

Recently two of Ashlin's suppliers have offered a wireless Skype handset providing the same freedom as any portable house hold phone.
